Melinda Condon President MPMPI

Prior to becoming the Chapter President, Melinda held the office of MPMPI's Vice President of  Membership. Melinda is also the Vice President, Association Services for the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association.  In this role she is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Association’s various off-site conferences and meetings including the nationally-recognized regional newspaper trade show America East. 

In addition, she oversees the Association Management division of PNA which currently manages three national associations including the National Conference of Editorial Writers, the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists and the Association for Women in Sports Media.  She began as Assistant Director of Meetings at PNA in 1997.  Prior to that, Condon spent ten years as a Project Coordinator with the Community Service Department of The Patriot-News in Harrisburg.  She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a B.A. in Communications.

Condon is a member of PASAE, the association for association executives in Pennsylvania.  She has been involved with the Middle Pennsylvania chapter of MPI since its inception and most recently served on the board as the Vice President of Membership. 

Condon is stepmother to three stepdaughters.  She likes to say that she is married to a grandfather, but not a grandmother herself.  To finance their addiction to Steelers football, high def television and renovations to their log home in Dillsburg, she and her husband, Dane, work more than is recommended
